Signature Resize

Resize your signature to the exact pixel size and KB limit your form asks for - in one step, without stretching it.

Common sizes

How it works

1

Upload a photo or scan of your signature on white paper.

2

Tap a common size or type the width, height and KB limit from your form.

3

Check the preview and download the JPG.

Resize a signature to the form's exact rules

Online applications usually set two rules for the signature: a pixel size (for example 140 x 60) and a file size (for example 10 to 20 KB). Getting both right with separate tools is fiddly. This signature resizer does it in one step: it cuts away the empty paper around your signature, fits it into exactly the width and height you enter without stretching it, and saves a JPG that stays under your KB limit.

How to get a clean signature

  • Use white paper and a dark pen - black or dark blue ink on plain white paper gives the sharpest result.
  • Sign larger than you need - a big signature shrinks cleanly; a tiny one gets blurry when resized.
  • Take the photo in daylight - avoid shadows from your hand or phone across the paper.
  • Try "Clean black & white" - it turns grey paper pure white and the ink pure black, which looks crisp and makes very small files.

About the size presets

The quick sizes are common examples, not rules for any particular exam or bank. Different forms ask for different sizes, so always copy the exact width, height and KB limit from your form's instructions into the boxes. If a form gives the size in centimetres, check whether it also gives pixels, since uploads are checked in pixels and KB.

If you see an error

If the tool says the size cannot fit, the pixel dimensions are too large for that KB limit. Use the smaller dimensions the form allows or a slightly higher KB value. For a passport-style photo instead of a signature, use the photo tools for KB limits.

Questions & Answers

Will my signature be stretched?
No. It is fitted inside the width and height you set and centred on white, so its shape never changes.
What size should a signature be?
It depends on the form. Many ask for something around 140 x 60 pixels and 10 to 20 KB, but always use the numbers in your form's instructions.
Can I use a phone photo of my signature?
Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos all work. Good light and white paper give the best result.
Is my signature stored?
No. The upload is deleted right after processing and the result is removed automatically soon after.
