What this tool does
Flipkart gives you an A4 PDF where each page has the E-Kart shipping label on top and a GST tax invoice below the dashed line. Printing it as-is wastes paper and a thermal (4x6) printer cannot use it. This tool finds the "Tax Invoice" line on every page and cuts just above it, so you get a tidy PDF with one clean label per page.
How the detection actually works
Rather than applying one fixed crop to every page, our engine reads the actual text content of each page to locate exactly where the words "Tax Invoice" begin, then cuts just above that line. Flipkart's label layout runs taller than some other marketplaces' formats, so the fallback crop presets used when no text match is found - Tight, Standard, and Keep more - are each calibrated specifically for Flipkart's own typical label proportions rather than reused from a different marketplace's layout.
Bulk labels
Downloaded 30 orders in one PDF? Upload the whole file. Each page is cropped at its own cut line and the labels come back as a single multi-page PDF, ready to send to the printer.
Sort by SKU
Turn on "Sort labels by SKU" to group identical products together (all D3-Shirt-Skyblue-3XL- labels next to each other), so you can pick and pack a batch without hunting through the pile. This reordering happens after cropping, based on the SKU text actually printed on each label, so the final output arrives already organized for an efficient packing session rather than in whatever order the orders happened to download in.
Who actually needs this, and why
Flipkart and E-Kart sellers printing shipping labels for daily order fulfillment who want to stop wasting thermal roll length or paper on an unneeded tax invoice section. Sellers packing large batches who benefit from SKU-sorted labels to match products to orders faster. Anyone using a 4x6 thermal printer specifically, since Flipkart's default A4 layout doesn't fit that format without cropping first.
Privacy
Your file is processed over an encrypted connection and deleted from the server automatically about an hour later. No account, no watermark, no limit on the number of labels for normal use.
Why cropping matters for thermal printing specifically
Thermal label printers are built to print onto fixed-size rolls - typically 4x6 inches - and can't accommodate a full A4 page with extra invoice content below the label. Sending an uncropped A4 PDF to a thermal printer either fails outright or prints only part of the page scaled incorrectly, which is exactly the problem this tool solves by producing a PDF sized to match just the actual label content on each page.
What the "Tight", "Standard" and "Keep more" options actually control
These fallback options only matter on pages where no "Tax Invoice" text is detected at all, since those pages have nothing for the automatic detection to cut against. "Tight" keeps the smallest fallback area, suited to 4x6 thermal rolls. "Standard" keeps a fuller area suited to A4 or laser printing. "Keep more" adds extra margin for the rare label that runs slightly longer than the other two presets expect, so nothing important gets accidentally trimmed off.
Protecting the barcode, AWB number and FMPC code
A Flipkart E-Kart label carries several distinct machine-readable elements - a vertical barcode, the AWB tracking number, a data-matrix QR code, and an FMPC routing barcode - all of which are essential for the shipment to scan correctly at every stage of transit. The detection logic is deliberately conservative about exactly where it cuts, keeping the entire label content area intact rather than trimming aggressively close to the label's visible edge, which protects every one of these machine-readable elements from accidental damage.
Checking your result before a large print run
Before sending a large batch to the printer, it's worth opening the cropped PDF and checking a handful of pages - particularly the first, middle, and last - to confirm every label, including all of its scannable codes, came through fully intact. This quick check takes a moment and avoids wasting an entire roll of thermal labels on a batch that actually needed a different crop setting.
Saving paper, ink and packing time
For a seller processing even a modest daily order volume, not printing an unnecessary tax invoice section on every single label saves real thermal roll length or paper and ink over weeks and months, on top of the packing time saved by not having to manually trim the unwanted section from each label by hand. Combined with SKU sorting, the time savings compound further across a genuinely busy fulfillment day.
Fitting labels to a consistent page size
Beyond simply cropping away the invoice section, this tool can also fit each cropped label onto a page of specific dimensions, keeping the label's own proportions intact and centering it rather than stretching it unnaturally. This matters when your printer or packing workflow expects a consistent page size across every label, even though individual labels on the original A4 sheet can vary slightly in available space before cropping.
Keeping the original download for your records
Since the crop only affects the output file, it's worth keeping your original Flipkart-downloaded PDF accessible for a while after cropping, in case you need the full tax invoice information for a specific order again - the invoice itself remains fully available through Flipkart Seller Hub at any time regardless of what you've already printed and cropped.
E-Kart versus other Flipkart logistics partners
Most Flipkart orders ship through E-Kart, Flipkart's own logistics arm, but some orders may route through a different courier partner depending on the destination and product category. The label layout this tool detects is specifically calibrated for the standard Flipkart Seller Hub label format, which covers the overwhelming majority of sellers' day-to-day printing needs regardless of which specific courier partner ultimately ends up handling that particular shipment's actual final delivery all the way to the customer's own final doorstep delivery address without any issue.
