Why convert Word to PDF?

A .docx file can look different depending on which app or device opens it - fonts get substituted, page breaks shift, and formatting can drift. A PDF fixes the page exactly as you designed it, so a resume, contract or report looks identical whether it's opened on a phone, a laptop, or printed at a copy shop.

This tool converts your Word document on our server and hands you back a PDF in moments, with no software to install and no formatting clean-up required afterward.

Questions & Answers

Will fonts look the same in the PDF?
Yes, if your document uses common or embedded fonts. If a font isn't available on the server, a close system substitute is used automatically so the layout still looks right.
Does this work with both .doc and .docx files?
Yes, both the older .doc format and the modern .docx format are supported.
Will my original Word file be changed?
No. We only read your file to produce a PDF copy - your original .doc or .docx is left untouched and is deleted from our server shortly after conversion.
Can I convert a password-protected Word document?
Not directly - please remove the password protection in Word first, then upload the file for conversion.
