Photo and signature for Railway RRB forms
The Railway Recruitment Boards hire for NTPC, Group D, ALP, Technician and other posts, with lakhs of candidates applying online each cycle. The forms ask for a scanned colour photograph and signature in JPG within tight file-size limits, and an oversized or wrongly shaped image is the usual reason an upload fails. This tool crops to the required dimensions and compresses the file so it slips under the limit in one step.
The sizes RRB usually asks for
RRB notices commonly ask for a recent colour photograph of roughly 15-40 KB and a signature of about 10-40 KB, in JPG, often with the photo taken within a stated recent period. Some RRB forms also want the photo on a white background with the name and date shown. The 200x230 photo and 140x60 signature shown here are typical values; the exact numbers vary by board and notice, so check yours.
Avoid a rejected RRB upload
- Recent colour photo, plain background, face clearly visible.
- Signature in black or dark blue ink on white paper, cropped close.
- Keep the file within the stated KB range.
- Upload photo and signature as separate JPG files.
Size the photo first, then switch to the RRB Signature preset for your signature.
