Photo and signature for the NEET application
The National Testing Agency runs NEET UG, and its online form asks for several scanned images: a passport-size photograph, a postcard-size photograph, your signature, and in some years a left-hand thumb impression. Each has its own file-size limit in KB, and the form rejects anything too large or saved in the wrong shape. This tool crops your image to the right dimensions and then compresses it until it is within the limit, so you spend less time fighting the upload screen.
The sizes NEET usually asks for
NEET commonly accepts a photograph in the range of about 10-200 KB and a signature of roughly 10-50 KB, in JPG. The photograph must be recent, on a white background, with the face clearly visible, and recent bulletins require the candidate's name and the date of the photo printed across the bottom. A resizer cannot add that text, so take the photo correctly first and use this tool only to hit the size. For the postcard photo, use the Custom option with the dimensions your bulletin states.
Avoid a rejected NEET upload
- White background, no cap or coloured glasses, ears and face clearly visible.
- Name and photo date printed at the bottom, as the bulletin requires.
- Signature in black ink on white paper, cropped tightly.
- Check each downloaded file is inside the stated KB range.
Size the passport photo first, then switch presets for the signature, and use Custom for the postcard photo and thumb impression.
