Photo and signature for the CUET application

The Common University Entrance Test is run by the National Testing Agency for admission to central and other universities. Like the NTA's other exams, the CUET form asks for a scanned photograph and signature in JPG, each within a file-size range, and rejects anything over the limit or saved in the wrong dimensions. This tool crops to the exact size and compresses in a single step.

The sizes CUET usually asks for

CUET commonly accepts a photograph of roughly 10-200 KB and a signature of about 4-30 KB, in JPG. The photograph should be recent, on a plain light background with the face clearly visible, and recent bulletins ask for the candidate's name and the date printed on the photo. A resizer cannot add that text, so photograph it correctly and use this tool only for the pixel size and KB. The 200x230 photo and 140x60 signature shown here are typical values; your bulletin is final.

Get your CUET upload accepted

  • Plain background, good light, face and ears visible.
  • Name and photo date on the photograph, as the bulletin requires.
  • Signature in dark ink on white paper, cropped close.
  • Check each download is within the stated KB range.

Resize the photo first, then switch to the CUET Signature preset for your signature.
