Why watermark your images?

When sharing original photography, product catalogs, digital artwork, or sensitive documents online, uncredited reposting and theft are common. Adding a visible text watermark (such as your name, website, @handle, or "SAMPLE") or an official logo marks the image clearly as your property and discourages unauthorized commercial use.

Custom text or transparent logo branding

Choose between two powerful watermarking modes:

  • Text Watermarks: Add words like "CONFIDENTIAL", "PROOF", or your copyright notice. Customize the font size, color, opacity, and choose between a centered diagonal stamp, a repeated background tile, or a discreet corner watermark.
  • Logo Watermarks: Upload your transparent PNG brand logo, scale it proportionally, and position it in any corner or at the center.

Live preview with zero server upload

Everything renders directly on your screen in real time using HTML5 Canvas. You can see how the watermark looks instantly as you adjust sliders. Because processing happens entirely inside your browser, your high-resolution images never leave your computer or phone.

Questions & Answers

Can I add a repeating diagonal watermark across the whole image?
Yes! Select the "Repeat Tile Grid" arrangement to tile your watermark text diagonally across the entire photo, providing maximum protection against cropping.
Can I use a transparent PNG logo?
Yes. Switch to the "Logo / Image" tab and select your PNG logo. Transparency is fully preserved and blended over your base image.
Is my image uploaded to any server?
No. The watermarking takes place completely within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas. Your image is never uploaded to any remote server.
Does watermarking reduce original photo resolution?
No. The canvas renders at the exact natural width and height of your original photo, preserving crisp detail and clarity.
