Why sign a PDF online?

Printing a document just to sign it and scan it back in is slow, and the result often looks worse than the original. This tool lets you add a real signature - drawn with your mouse or finger, typed in a handwriting-style font, or a photo of your own signature - directly onto the PDF, without leaving your browser.

Is this a legally binding signature?

This tool places an image of your signature onto the page, the same as signing a printout and scanning it back in. Whether that's sufficient for a given document depends on what you're signing and where you are - for anything with legal weight, check what your situation requires.

Is this safe?

Your document is only uploaded to our server at the final step, to stamp your signature onto it - everything before that (viewing your PDF, drawing or typing your signature) happens entirely in your browser. The file is processed and then removed from our server automatically afterward.

Questions & Answers

Can I draw my signature with my finger on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The drawing area works with touch, mouse and stylus input.
Can I sign more than one page?
This tool places one signature on one page per run. If you need to sign several pages, run the tool again on the result for each additional page.
Can I resize or move my signature after placing it?
Yes. Drag it to reposition, or drag the handle in its corner to resize it, before downloading.
Is my document kept after signing?
No. Both the uploaded PDF and the signed copy are removed from our server automatically after a short period.
